Privacy Policy

Rounders is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not sell personal data, do not run ads, and do not track users across apps or websites. By using Rounders, you agree to this policy.

1. Data We Collect

Rounders does not require an account and does not collect identifying personal information such as names, email addresses, or location data.

 

Data generated by the app (such as game results, settings, and round history) is stored locally on your device.

2. Purchases

Rounders offers an optional in-app purchase to unlock Premium features.

  • Payments are processed by Apple via the App Store
  • Rounders uses RevenueCat to manage purchase status and entitlement access
  • RevenueCat receives anonymous purchase-related information (such as product identifiers and subscription status) but does not receive personal identifying information
  • Rounders does not have access to your payment details

3. Analytics

Rounders uses Mixpanel, a third-party analytics service, to understand how the app is used. This helps us identify friction points and improve the product over time.

 

What we collect

  • A random device identifier assigned by Mixpanel (not linked to your Apple ID, name, email, or any other personal information)
  • In-app interactions such as screen views, feature usage, and game activity
  • Technical information about your device (operating system version, app version)

What we do not collect

  • Your name, email address, or any contact information
  • Your Apple ID
  • Precise location data
  • Payment information
  • Advertising identifiers (IDFA)

Where data is stored

Mixpanel's EU region servers in Frankfurt, Germany. Your analytics data never leaves the EU / UK / European Economic Area.

 

Feature flags

Rounders uses Mixpanel's feature flag service to test different app experiences. Feature flags are evaluated using your anonymous device identifier and do not collect any additional personal data.

 

Legal basis

We process analytics data under the legitimate interest legal basis (UK-GDPR / EU-GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). We have assessed our legitimate interest in understanding how the app is used against your rights and freedoms, and determined that the pseudonymous, EU-hosted nature of the processing means our interest is not overridden by your rights.

 

Mixpanel as a processor

Mixpanel Inc. acts as a data processor for Rounders under the terms of Mixpanel's Data Processing Addendum. Mixpanel's own privacy policy is available at mixpanel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

4. Apple Search Ads Attribution

Rounders uses Apple's AdServices framework to measure the effectiveness of Apple Search Ads campaigns.

  • On first launch, the app requests an anonymous attribution token from Apple
  • This token is forwarded to RevenueCat to match installs with ad campaigns
  • The token does not contain personal information, device identifiers, or your Apple ID
  • No IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers) is collected — AdServices does not require App Tracking Transparency consent

5. Data Sharing

Rounders does not sell or share user data with third parties for advertising or tracking purposes.

 

Data is only shared with Apple services (such as the App Store and AdServices), RevenueCat for purchase management, and Mixpanel for analytics — all as described above.

6. Children's Privacy

Rounders does not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the date above. Material changes will be communicated within the app where appropriate.
